Point System for Awards
There are Camp Awards presented to the Beaver, Cub and Scout Group/Section at the closing ceremony These awards are based on points obtained for Camp Participation and Camp Site Organization. The Camporee Committee does a walk around and takes into account participation as well as Campsite Organization. Here is an example of the factors used in presenting Awards..

Are stoves/lanterns/bbq's safely and efficiently located?
Are all stoves/lanterns/bbq's properly turned off or supervised if on?
Safe location of boiling water station away from shelter?
Is the kitchen shelter a safe height/distance from any stoves/lanterns?
Is all propane/fuel located safely and away from unsupervised access?
Is all unused propane/fuel located away from the kitchen in a safe restricted area?
Are all cooking pots/pans cleaned and stored safely if not in use?
Are all knives and cutlery cleaned and stored safely if not in use?
Is the menu displayed in a well defined safe area?
